14 psi of boost with good tuning at partial throttle and full
9 psi with ok tuning partial and full...
find yourself a tuner and let him go to town.

there was a guy running 20 psi of boost oh a stock sleeves last season all season and never had a problem. Its all about the tune...of course even i wouldnt run 20 psi of boost. But 14 is do able.

i ran 12psi on my stock bottom end for a while. took it like a champ. when i tore the motor down the bottom end was in such good shape.
like defttones said its all about tunning

It is all about the tuning.. And the psi number dont mean ****.. Its the amount of power that the motor is putting out that kills it..
I just finished re-building my stock B16A motor and im planning to get about 300whp or so out of it..
The only real way to find out how much power is too much is to find out for yourself.. When you blow it you know where the limit is.. B16's are so cheap and easy to find its becomming like the d-series motors are..

the B16a is from Hmotorsonline its got 25k to 35k on it. I know its not about the psi and its about the hp but psi = Hp anyways yea the engine has nothing at all done to it AT ALL bone stock. does it have to be tunned asap?
Here is my advice take it and love it or leave. If your going to run the fmu or whatever comes with it then by all means leave the boost low. If you save up and want to go with a stand alone even like turbo edit or uberdata or something then I say raise the boost. The better the tune the safer chance of going higher with boost. IF your just running a fmu then I say dont raise the boost because i bet that **** is going to have problems.

7psi? Grow a pair down south...
it is about the tune but don't expect your rods to last long if you're actually pushing 300whp after the first ping.
b16 rods aren't anything special. You'll be fine pushing 10-12psi though with a decent a/f.

And some conservative timing to make up for hot days.
