Broken AEM CAI .. anyone else ??
I noticed that the bracket that attaches the AEM CAI to the car's chassis broke off the intake pipe. My CAI is now only attached to the t-body via the coupler. Has this happened to anyone else ?? Is this covered under warranty by AEM ?? I'll be calling AEM shortly but I thought I'd ask and see if I was the only one with this problem. Thanks !!
Same thing has happened to me with 2 different AEM CAI along with the V2 cracking in several spots. AEM owned up to it though and sent me a brand new V2 intake whick had thicker welds in the very places mine broke at.
Right now, I'm using a 3" silicone coupler with a bracket to hold the CAI. It would really rock if AEM will replace this under warranty since I really didn't mess with it or use it in a manner other than it was supposed to be used. I'll give them a call .. thanks !!

ahhhh the fix to everything lmao... and it's what I'm using I think the torque of the motor will do it do just about any modded B without crazy stiff Hasport mounts. kinda ghetto but better than paying for the damn thing again.
