New Idea for the Throttle Body Helix OBX Spacer
We all know these things are a joke.
But you can only go so far with boring out the throttle body side of a stock JDM or Euro R Intake Manifold.
So what if you take for example, a Euro R Intake Manifold, and bore the TB side out to 65mm. Then you purchase an STR or Skunk2 TB which is 68mm.
You can do work on the spacer and make it taper from 68mm down to 65mm to create the smoothest flow possible.
If that is the case, wouldn't we have a good use for this now?

It's better to just bore the intake manifold to the size of the TB.

I'm looking at a Euro R Intake Manifold right now. It has been bored out to 64mm. I know some people who have brought it to 65mm.
But I don't think you can bore it out more than that or else it'll be too thin.
