Default z6 vtec head on 90 civic dx

well i wasnt able to get the Si dizzy, so i just didnt convert to mpfi, but i did do the swap, now after the head swap. speed sensor not working, no problem, the dizzy didnt fit on head by an inch, being not tall enough, so i zip tide it, w/e it works for now, no leaks no nothing.
so guys i ws wondering since i didnt get the SI dizzy, and it might not for on the vtec head, i have the dizzy that it came with, the OBD1 dizzy, to convert the dpfi to mpfi, i need that dizzy, because it has the CPS sensor in it, can i put the dx dizzy plugs on it, and the two extra wires leave them for the conversion will it work if i match the wires and convert it to OBD0 or is it going to have the firing order diffrent. PLEASE if someone out there understands me please help, i need to convert to mpfi, ASAP. please can the dizzy be converted to OBD0.
Thanx! email me if anything > lowcopr19@yahoo.com <

So let me see if have my premises straight
1) The car is still DPFI
2) The head is off a D16Z6
3) You are using an A6 Distributor

Correct?

In order to run an obd1 dizzy you need to wire to obd1 and use the ecu (p28) for it... or you can get a Si dizzy and just do the mpfi wiring with some kind of vtec/rpm activator...

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by turboLSef &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">In order to run an obd1 dizzy you need to wire to obd1 and use the ecu (p28) for it... or you can get a Si dizzy and just do the mpfi wiring with some kind of vtec/rpm activator... </TD></TR></TABLE>
But in going the OBD-0 route using a VTEC switch will enable VTEC but you will not have the adequate fuel maps to support it.

there are some people who are putting vtec activation and the fuel maps for it onto pm6's so you can stay obd0... I cant find the link right now but I know its possible or use a vafc

blah, after all that stuff, an obd1 conversion would be cheeper. IMO. z6 head, can only use a z6 Dizzy.
