Idler Pulley replacement on RSX
Im at the Acura dealer right and they're replacing my idler pulley. Car has been makin lots of funny noises lately. Pullin into the garage the car chirps and squeels like a bird or something. Also at low rpm there is this raspy metallic sound. Guys here at Acura say that its the most common thing they fix on the RSX.
Has anyone else had to replace their idler pulley?
The way they made it seem here is that its a common problem that effects a lot of owners. They said it effects even more who dont know a thing about cars but just keep drivin it cause they think its normal. Seems Honda missed the ball on this particular part. Sorry for my rant.

I know this thread is old and dead but I had the same damn issue. You have automagic like I do right? At first they denied the problem existed, told me they had three mechanics look at. I called back and said "Look, I'd be more than happy to come down there and point it out to your mechanics for you if you'd like." I ended up having to do just that. On a die note, which dealership do you go to? I'm sick of South Coast Acura
