A slight distraction: my photos from Japan
I know it's a little off-topic, but we posted some of my Japan photos. These are some of the images that didn't make our Tokyo Auto Salon coverage.

Thanks for posting them. This is where we see that the internet does not work against printed media but rather helps to enhance them!
i dont know why, but i nearly spit up water all over my keyboard at the jdm cement mixer. those are some awesome pics though and i look forward to the next issue
LOL I stayed at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel on one of my trips to Japan. Very Nice!
Japan is a VERY cool place to visit. Especially the major cities. The things that impress me the most are: Everyone is very polite, everything is spotless wherever you go, you always feel "safe" no matter what time of day or night it is, and everthing runs ON TIME in Japan.
Nice pics...I especially like that seven.

Crap, this is just the first day there. I took over 500 pics in the 5 days we were there. My wife took me for my 30th birthday, and we can't wait to go back again soon.

i went to TAS too, and stayed for a while... 17 days total. it was the best trip ever. few things that stook out
- Tokyo is super clean
- Tokyo is super safe
- Tokyo is not expensive for a global megapolis; you can do it cheap. i lived at Youth Hostels for 1600 yen ($16 bucks) a night, spend $5 to eat curry rice w/udon.
- tons of things to see and do
- Tokyo has lot of cheap things to shop for too. i bought a nice coat for whopping 980 yen ($9.80). you can find lots of deals if u stroll around.
- lots of pretty girls who are trendy (especially Shibuya) but they hardly speak English and they are very shy in general... oops, rest will be in my long write up...
- most fun i had was watching Sumo for the entire day. it is so fun.

Is that Hartmut Feyhl of RennTech in the Razo store looking at a product? Sure looks like him.
I love Engrish. Body Shop Happy is one of new favorites.

Working for a Dutch company makes me appreciate the effort other people go to to use English but also the odd messages that they sometimes come out with. We used an on-line computer translator to convert some suspension kit instructions from German to English. Turns out it read the word "nut" and "mother" as the same German word so the installation instructions would tell you to tighten and torque your "nut/mother" to a certain spec.

You know, it might be. They never did a group introduction, so I never got everyone's names. But I think I heard someone say something about RennTech during the tour.
Oh, and next issue is at the printer right now. There's some Tokyo Auto Salon coverage and other stuff in there.
