Advice on car trade Accord for SI Hatch
Hey whats up peoples, I'm new to this board, I know by browsing honda-tech frequently its the best website out there dedicated to us Honda lovers...
anyways got a question, do you think this is a good trade, i have a honda accord 95 coupe black, 5 speed lx that i wrecked with some front end damage but the car is running perfect with 120000 miles , and someone wants to trade me their 92 si hatch with 170000 miles ( i konw its a lot of miles) but the motor is still strong....
or do you think its more economical so to say to put my money back into the accord and get the whole front end fixed back up i love the accord, but i m going through tough times and my money's not right, but i love the coupe accords, any advice?? i need it,a lso where could i find deals on entire front clips maybe ?
thanks
Dan

i would take the SI any day over the LX accord. the Si Hatch is a rare car and it holds value.
You will most like change the Engine and Suspension anyways so the Mileage really doesnt matter.

170K really isnt that much as long as it was well maintained. I suggest doing the trade and saving the money towards a swap for when that motor eventually dies.
92 si hatch!? Those cars are great! If I was in your shoes I'd trade it
I love accords and all, but if mine was wrecked, and an LX, I'd probably prefer the si. They arent a very common car anymore (especially if its stock) My brother owns one, he's had it since 97 and his engine hit 180,000+ and we swapped a stock ls engine in it, its a really fun car

I want the Si hatch. If you dont buy it tell him I will.
waht is it? 2200lbs? at most? and then you can swap a b,k, or h, or even just do a D series head swap????
god a Civic is so much easier to make faster.....
