Yup. It's unfortunate that a lot of cops are ignorant to our sport. But you know what, if I was a cop and I kept seeing punks pulling wheelies down my street, I'd start to profile riders too. The only thing we can do is set a good example and don't **** around on the streets. Not all cops are ignorant to our sport. As a matter of fact, I've got two friends that ride that are cops. One's CHP in downtown LA area and another is LBPD. They're always teased at by their fellow boys in blue 'cause they ride asian bikes. So my buddies know how bad it can be for us. Its just something we've gotta deal with responsibly.

nicely put. I know its not all of them but that guy is just rediculous... i dont care if the guy on the bike killed 5 people what the cop said was just wrong... Heres was what someone else from another forum said

Everyone would be talking about how retarded the guy was for running if he wasn't on a bike. The cop should never be glad that someone died but lets face it, the rider was just plain stupid and paid for it.
No one should get hurt riding but if you're speeding and stunting on public roads I do not feel sorry for anything that happens to you.

i think there are a small % of cops who are happy to see sportbike riders get in trouble/hurt. i would imagine its pretty annoying to see some guy fly by you going 100+mph in the opposite direction and not being able to do anything about it. lets face it there are a number of riders who don't stop for cops, just twist the throttle

All in all, most cops go by the book. I used to think that the Huntington Beach cops, (officer McMillen) was always out to get us import guys but later on, I started to see all kinds of guys getting pulled over for fix its. Even lifted trucks. I know its hard to see it when you're the one getting cited but most cops just go by the book. Yea, some of them profile but its usually from experience that they go by their hunch. When I see a group of lowered Hondas on the freeway in the middle of the night, I would assume that at one time or another, they're gonna race/speed.

First off, we need cops, plane and simple! Without them we would be at Disney land and get held at gun point for our bikes... Yes Most of them are ok but it's those !@#$ing bastard ones that **** me off!!! I look at the post the officer dip s*** wrote and think of it as being no other then he, himself mutilating a body and celebrating afterwords. I don't care if the guy stole the bike, had a pound of coke on him (that he was going to sell to 5th graders the next day) and just killed 5 people. It gives him no right to be happy that someone got hurt. We see these videos of terrorists cutting off someones head and cheering and praising god for it. for all of you who saw those videos remember how it made you feel! Remember! Celebrating for someones pain, is it any different from what officer S*** head did?

They played football in high school, thought they were the baddest player of all time, graduated and couldn't get in the door to play college ball...cause they sucked. Well, so here's "billy-I'm a badass" with no future and no education...what will he do with his life? Hell, be a cop. You don't have to be smart, and it's a way to get paid for bullying people around!!!!
I've had more problems out of cops than I've ever gotten help from them. I've been to jail more times for things I didn't do than things I did. I have paid more in fines and court costs for things I didn't do than things I did.
I used to be the kind of guy that would see a cop and wave at him and say hello....till I realized that a week from that day I could be pulled over by that same cop. In his mind, he'd remember my face and maybe not remember where he saw me...but in his mind, he assumes that I've been in trouble before and that's how he knows me...so he's biased against me...the guy that simply waved and said hello to him in a store or somewhere. This is reality, how it really works!
Now, if I'm in line at a store and a cop walks in, I turn my back and look at something. I don't even let them see my face.
I was like so many others with misconceptions about cops. We all WANT to think that most of them are nice people, so we try and convince ourselves of it. We criticize those that actually have a handle on the REALITY that most of them are bullies and dishonest ******. What's so politically incorrect about realizing the reality that MOST cops have shitty attitudes and are *********?
