Engine floods fuel pump won't stop running
I disconnected both my vtec solenoid and my oil pressure switch and when I turn the ignition to the on position the fuel pump starts running and it won't stop priming. It then floods my engine completely, and fuel comes out of the intake. What could this be? Do the Vtec solenoid and oil pressure switch cause this? Would the car start if theese sensors are disconnected?
so what does that mean? How I fix it? Is it related to the vtec solenoid or the oil pressure switch being disconnected?
you can hear your fuel pump prime and it wont stop priming as in the sound wont go away? it might just be that an injector is bad and needs replacing.
exaclty. The fuel pump keeps running. This only started happening after I disconnected the ECT sensor and the Vtec solenoid. Could the ECT sensor be causing this?
