how often should I empty the oil can?
Since the moroso can is baffled, is it possible that the oil fill up to a certain level and start blocking the air routing back to the manifold? How often do you empty out the can?
Yes, I got it installed. THANKS TO BSQ's web site!!!!!!
I did some modification though and I mounted it at a different location. I also found the hose underneath the PCV is a bitch to get access to, so I just use a barb splicer to connect to that hose. It's all working good now. I also created a sliced cut for the tube going from the intake hose to the valve cover to prevent air going into the wrong direction. Some people told me it's unnessary, but since I took out the intake hose, might as well
BTW, there is so much oil inside the stock PCV , so I can imagine how much oil will stack up inside the manifold after a period of time.
Again, thanks to BSQ....

On my Integra, I empty the can every oil change. I get about 1/3 cup.
But for some reasn my B20 makes MUCH more. After 300 miles it was almost full.
After another 300 miles it was almost full again. Not sure why... it just fills up fast on the B20.
My friend's 85mm also fills it up quick.

lucky you. With my setup there is no place to mount it that will allow the can to be higher than the nipples in the back of the block. For this reason I guess i'll just have to empty it every damn time i put gas in it.

That is where I mounted mine...do you have any space there?

I didn't re-route mine back into the block.
I have mine w/ a petcock at the bottom.
Mine is mounted on the passenger side strut tower, right where the harness clips normally go.
This is in my Integra.
On my CX, it's mounted in that same area, only slightly lower. Right by the starter.

Mike K, as you mention, you noticed the B20 is full after about 300miles. How did you know that? The can is not transparent.
Just wondering...

Hey you..THERE is an idea! They should make one where you can see the level of oil in the can!
Mike, I dont know if youve answered before and I missed the reply, but why didnt you route back into the block? Any specific reason or just cause?

HX_guy, I was trying to route it back to the block too, but the height doesn't allow me to do so. I tried many places and none of them fit the catch can and make it higher than the head. Mine is a 2001 R and I found it has a lot more wirings and sensors going everywhere inside my engine bay comparing with my stolen 99 R.
It doesnt have to be higher then the head, just slightly higher then the plug on the passanger side of the block. Basically just high enough so gravity helps it drain back
I wanted to keep the oil separated. Personally, I think that if you have it recirculating.. it's not going to give as adequate pcv as a sealed system.
Think about it.. there are two outlets on the back of the block.
In my setup, both feed into the can and residual oil stays there.
In Endyns, it goes back down via a t-fitting in one of the tubes.
It's like air fighting against oil coming back.
I dont know.. but I dont mind draining it.
I just check once a week. Pop the petcock on the bottom and hold a plastic cup by it. Like a 16oz. plastic cup was about filled to the brim.

no way, not nearly enough to clear the hood, lol. does the Endyn catch can kit come with an extra fitting on the side of it? i noticed yours has two hoses going to the side and of course the one on the top. Mine only has one on top, the **** (hehe) on the bottom and the brass fitting on the side.

o_Rage_o,
From my understanding, that can is not baffled, so not that useful in terms of oil catching. Yes, it looks nice and yes,it's JDM. But it's not necessary better. Moroso is what you want.
Visit BSQ's site, it has detailed instruction on installing the Moroso Can.

FYI, you really should use an oil catch can which contains baffling. If the catch can does not have baffling there will be little chance that the oil droplets will be seperated from the blow-by gases. This would essentially defeat the purpose of the catch can, because the oil droplets would be routed right back into the intake manifold. Please refer to this diagram ( http://www.theoldone.com/sc/type-r/C...an_Diagram.jpg ) for a visual on purpose of a baffling.
I also made my drop-in filter with your instructions too. I just find it sooo useful that I need to advertise it for you.
