So last night at around 3 o'clock, I hear my car alarm go off and I'm pretty damn suspicious because I know for a fact that my car alarm only goes off on the street if a car with a riced out exhaust sounds comes through the street.

So it goes off, I get my keys and turn off the alarm then get a flash light to go look outside. Well, car looks ok until I go there the next morning. My front passenger side window was smashed into a billion pieces. The only thing keeping it together was my tint and if it wasn't for that, there would be glass all over and the ******* retard who probably did it would of stole **** inside my car or maybe even the car.

So I stare at my poor window feeling so mad at the retarded *** who did it and sad because that retarded *** put my car through pain. I call up this place to see how much it'll cost to replace it and its gonna cost me freaking $350 but it has a life time warranty and they're gonna come here in the morning to install it for me. WTF man, thats $350 I could of used for something else. I'm glad I have an alarm otherwise, I would of been fucked pretty bad. I hate living at connected house where you have to park your car on the street and not on a driveway or garage.

I went outside to look around to see what the person might of used to smash my window. I saw an Eagles hat on the ground. I just wanted to stomp the **** out of it but that would be pretty worthless so I just threw it away.

Nah they didn't take anything cause the glass didn't break. It was all held together by my tint so it's like a billion pieces all stuck together on the tint.

 

dang, for under 300 dollars i replaced my front windshield, back windshield, and passenger glass. you should shop around next time

yeah, back when i was in highschool 5+ years ago, some **** broke my driver and passenger side windows in my driveway. I had to pay the deductable for insurance, which was $200...which sucked fat donkey *****, but hey..be happy you still have your car

 

maybe they just didnt like you and did it to just vandalize your car? or maybe it was random vandalizm

 

$350 is steep! I had the same thing happen to me once before and it only cost me $125 to replace, and that was in VA.

 

Its cool now, I called up another place and they said it'll cost only 150!!! So I'm pretty happy about that but still not happy about spending money I dont have to.

 

When my car was broken into i got a new window from acura for like 158 bucks or something and replaced it that day in a couple hours myself. Installation was a breeze and the hardest part was vacuuming the glass out of the inside of my door..

 

man call a salvage yard dude thats a rip off i just replaced a window in my hatch and it was only 50$ AND I put it in my self..

 

yeah 350??? a little high, but at least u still have your car.

WTF~! you should have taken that hat to a forensic science and get that ****** DNAed! then bust that sob that did that **** to your car!

i dont think it was someone with intent to steal... other wise i dont think that a peice of tint would have stopped them. They were prolly just haters like we have around here that think its funny to throw a brick through a random imports window.

A for the car still being there though...alot less fortunate people everyday...

At least you found something cheaper, but you know you can do it yourself, right? The glass is only about $50. If you pull off the door panel inside the car, you can see how everything works. Just work the glass onto the rails and work at it from there. Very easy. You should give it a try.

Crap, $350 at the one place! You can buy a pair of Type-R doors from Password for $400 with glass.

 

i know how you feel, my car was at a friends house and some random **** lookin for fun broke my driver window, the rear 1/4 window, and my rear hatch window... it was 900 dollars total to fix for me.

I had my driver's side window broken out on my DA here on campus in the "24 hr. reserved lot". Took my amp, cd player, tools and cd's. Before I replace anything I'm getting an alarm.
And my window cost $125.00 they knocked off like $25.00 because I already took of the door panel.
