Prelude 5 speed tranny weaknesses?

OK, syncs and shift forks are the main weaknesses of the Preludes tranny. Is there a solution? I've had my 4g for 6 years and the trannys been through alot. 150k's worth. About 4 yrs ago I contacted Level10 because they were going to make a complete 5 speed rebuild kit. I kept calling for 2yrs after that but nothing. They actually pissed me off because the guy told me they'd give me one of the prototypes then bailed. So what else is there? The only thing I've found to keep the tranny going is synchromesh.
