JDM yellow paint HELP
Hey guys, i wanna paint the civic HB im getting 92-95, how much is it to get JDM Banana yellow paint like on the ITR's. I am going to paint it that yellow cause i think its an awesome color and it'll look gret on a civic hb EG. I also need to know How do i get it and anything else i may need to know. THANKS
Since it appears that you're actually seriously asking these questions, and I'm in a decent mood, I'll help you out. First, the color isn't "Banana Yellow". The JDM cars come in a color called Sunlight Yellow, and the corresponding USDM color is Phoenix Yellow. The paint code for this color is Y-56, and you can take that to any paint or body shop to obtain that color. The cost will obviously vary depending upon the type and brand of paint you purchase, where you purchase it from, and whether you're painting the vehicle yourself or having a professional do it.

Good question I would like to know also, I was under the impression they were slightly different but I could be totally wrong and hope I am.

I always thought there was a difference, not only because of the name, but because of the actual colour!.. Look at the 2 integra's in this pic. The DC2 is Sunlight Yellow (brighter) and the DC5 is Phoenix Yellow (richer, deeper, more mellow
).. that's the way I know it.. but i'm open to answers

phoenix and sunlight are the same color,, the dc2 is obviously original paint and a little faded and the rsx has been repainted so its newer and looks a little better

False, Honda of Japan took the US Phoenix Yellow and let it sit in direct sunlight under strict security measures on Mount Fuji. Thus, reducing weight and creating Sunlight Yellow.
