Default 88-91 crx and civic dx?

whats up,im wanting to buy a crx dx or a civic hatch dx.i will prolly just lower it and put some rims on it and nice stereo.my bro doesnt want me to get a dx cause he said the motor **** up to easy is that true?im just going to be cruising it around until i do a swap.and drive it to work.am i wasting my money and time buy a dx?

The dx motor is a very reliable motor so your brother is wrong there altho later on when you decide to do a swap you will have to change the dpfi to mpfi if you get a si or an hf then you dont have to worry about these things.........just put in a search man and you will get tons of info your lookin for

Why lower it and put rims on it when you can build and boost the motor and have a fast car..
