I tried searching and didn't really find much on here. Im curious as to what header gives the best POWER output for the $. I dont actually know all the brand of headers made for the RSX-s yet but im learning.

I know of the DC sports race header, jackson racing has one, TODA, and comptech. am i missing any? I guess im asking, which header gives out the BEST power for our cars. And do they all bolt right up? the type s im getting has a 2.5" exhaust by greddy. (the evo i think). does anyone have prices on these too?

Race headers make the most power. shorties don't make as much power. But buying something for cheap means the quality of the product is also sacrificed. I've heard people that have certain brands like DC sports have had some problems. If I were you I'd save money and get a Toda. yea it's alot but it's worth it.

 

TODA all the way.... but I'm biased. If money is a concern, get the DC Sports Race, it makes some pretty good gains at the wheels. If money isn't a concern, get the TODA or Mugen.

 

well, if you have an ep3, you can try the borla header. I have the borla and it makes great top end power.

 

For the RSX, Toda makes the best power of what is available on the market.

 

yea the Toda header is awesome, but for the money a used Jaskson Racing Header is a great deal. I think you can pick one up for a about 400 used nowadays.

It's the header I use and I love it.

what problems do u have with a dc race header? i was planning on buying one for 320 new. does anybody know if an 02-04 race header will fit an 05?

as far as bang for buck, im gunna have to say DC race header, best gains, Toda race header. ive owned both, as well as the spoon 2 peice header, so ive had a chace to dyno, and drive with all three. currently i am using the toda.

 

no love from comptech... mines working good.

 

yea, i could only give feedback on the 3 combos ive used. iv head good about the comptech as well. but have also have had guys show more power from the DC over the comptech in back to back dynos. not whopping, but a lil

 

what about the CTR header?? does anyone know about any gains with that on a K20A3??? i know there will be some mods if you don't have an exhaust, like the dcrh.
