welll my corner lights stay on even when the switch is on off what could be the problem i evne unplugged the hrness formthe switch and it still stays on any help would be appericated

I'm looking now for the 81 accord schematic, I'll get back to ya when I can find it.
Then I'll get the crystal ball out to find out what else has been done or checked on the car. Thanks for all the info you've been a great help to yourself

Honda uses 'switch to ground' system so the lights wiring being grounded any where before the switch could cause the problem. Do you have a security system maybe? or you could have the light switch off/ unplug a light and do a continuity check to ground.....then follow the schematic"point to point" to find what is grounding the circuit.
