quick spring / shock combo question
i just ordered skunk2 lowering springs for my 92 LS and i was wondering what shocks i should get. i want the tokico blues but it says 'for coilovers'.
are some specifically made just for using coilovers, just for stock applications or for just for lowering springs?

I have never heard Tokico blues having that statement attached to them, or any model of them? Where did you see it?
As for shocks, they are not really made 'for adjustable coilovers' unless they are part of a full-adj. coilover setup. Coilover actually just means a coil spring over a shock, so stock shocks are technically coilovers - maybe that is what Tokico meant.
I am not sure how low skunk2 springs are, or if you plan on getting adjustable coilover sleeves (GC, skunk2, etc) later on, or are more likely to move to a fully adjustable coilover system (Omni, Tein, Progress, etc). If the skunk2 springs give more than a 1.5 inch drop, I would suggest Koni Yellows or Tokico Illuminas, if less than 1.5 inch, KYB AGX and Koni Red may be good. Tokico blues and KYB GR2s are considered to be stock replacement units, and will not last as long or perform as well with a big drop (>2 inches).
Keep in mind, with your DA, you can use 94-01 Integra and 92-95 Civic shocks simply by using front drop forks from those models. It compensates for the wider shock, and still bolts to the DA control arms. This will help greatly, because there is more of a selection for newer civics and integras.
