Default Distributor part number for 2001 ITR ??

Does anyone know the part number for the 2001 ITR distributor ?? I've looked at my dizzy and I can't seem to find the TD-xx number anywhere !! Also, will a TD-81U work on my 2001 ITR ?? I appreciate the help.

001 30100-P73-A02 DISTRIBUTOR (TC-08A) 1 2001 Acura INTEGRA 584.93 467.94

This is the acura part number. I'm not sure what you're asking about as far as TDXXX.

I buy all my acura parts from http://www.acuraparts247.com - as an added bonus, they display the actual part# unlike many other online places.

Well the deal is I'm thinking of buying the distributor from Distributor King and they are asking me to check the distributor housing for the part number which should be something like TD-81U or TD84U .. I looked at my dizzy and I can't find a number anywhere..

I'll be at the expo testing a new setup Distributor King has that removes the coil from inside the distributor to an outside box to mount externally. If things work out, I'll dyno both while at the expo just so everyone can see it works appropriately.

Only downside = blue see-through cap & chromed case = blingbling

Plus - I'll need to show that kaa still works on the track with it...

Yeah, I saw that link when I searched before posting .. From that link, it would seem that the part number I'm looking for is TD-84U but can someone actually confirm that this part number holds for the 2001 ITR ??

I just had a 91 civic si dizzy bearing go on me. It just started making whining noises. When I took it off... it barely moves with hand strenght and when it does... just scrapes/clicks.

For me... it was an audible whine/scratchy/clicky noise coming straight from the Dizzy.

It will sound like something nasty is rubbing or scratching within the distributor. We switched cap & rotor, but same sound happend. I pulled the dist off & it was crap inside. It didn't spin right even when spinning with your fingers.

If you pull the cap and there's any rusty dust inside, its time.
