Anyone going in with a 5th gen SS tranny might as well have them replace the tranny while they are there.

Damnit, its only for the Auto? Man, this sucks. I need new keys, and I was hoping this would be the way for me to get new ones. Well, I guess I'll just have to spend $60 for a new one

yea man, i figured there would be some college guys on here that never had time to listen to the news or read the paper,... at least i never had time to do those things, so there may have been a few people in the dark still.

right, the problem only occurred in the auto tranny models - not in the auto tranny.
