Default B16A2 oil pump gear broken oil pick up found in pan.

I need to know what would happen if you ran your motor 90+mph and the oil pick up happens to fall off. On a fully built 15psi turbo charged motor. Could this cause the oil pump to fail?? And piston scalding?? Please only experienced people. Peace...

Yep,those are two things on a list of many.Without the pick-up the pump suck air not oil. That means no oil to turbo also. The pumps fail on their own but with out oil they don't stand a chance.
