i'm looking into selling my sol and getting an itr in the summer...I'm just curious if any of the ohio itr owners have the same theft problem as cali and all the other areas lately. I don't want to dedicate myself and my money to a car if theres a good chance it'll get stolen

Really depends on the neighborhood and who you hang out with. IMHO

The Dub-Vee doesnt have anything.... including thieves.

Don't bother without a garage

 

get a bad *** alarm system and keep it in the garage and you are good to go.

it will be kept in a garage but i'm more concerned about while i'm out, or at school and such

 

If you live in an urban area you will need a garage or you'll need to put in an insurance claim soon after buying it.

Ok back on topic.....

 

i've seen all of the recent stolen threads, which made me question buying an itr.. but they all seem to be in big cities, or suburbs of these big cities, and i'm in northwestern OH, away from most of this kind of stuff. In my town itself i've only heard of maybe 1-2 cars stolen in the past few years.... but i go to school in lima which is more south and kind of closer to cinci, and i would be driving this car to school daily

 

then you kinda answered your own question, You will be taking your caR (if bought) into an area that might be prone to thieves...

Consider a Beater if you get an ITR.

 

I dunno man, I live in OH and am paranoid about my car

but I think it's mainly because I read crazy **** on here daily
