Ive often herd of people stealing bikes, parting them and selling them on E-bay. So when i see something like this i really wonder if it was or not. Its practically the entire bike minus the frame... (97' 900RR yellow)

Hey, lets get everyone in here to ask him suspicious questions... like, "May I ask where you got these parts?" or "Can I come and check out all the stuff you've got for sale so that I can get a better look." How about, "Can you get me a rear subframe from a '03 CBR600RR and how soon can you get it?" or "I see that you've got a lot of parts for sale off the same bike... where's the frame?"

 

or maybe he got the bike from a salvage yard with a junk frame...or maybe he's converting the bike to a racebike and doesnt need the stock parts. im not saying that this is the case; im just saying that its possible.

well yeah, more then likely you are right and you prob are. but its just the thought that passes through my mind. Simple thought.

Either way, he must be getting it legit. Probably at auction.

 

there was a guy in New York that just got busted for stealing bikes and selling the parts on Ebay. he had 15 people working for him, paying them 3K per bike. the operation lasted for 2 years and he made 2 or 3 million. thats a lot of bikes "EBAY"
