hey guys, i was wondering if any has put 88-91 prelude seats in their rex.
seats dont look as good as rex but they are damn comfy
side bolster and lumbar adjustment too

nayone know if can be done without welding?

I've got a mint pair of these 91 Prelude Si seats and am just going to get rid of them. Too much of a pain to make them fit...lumbar and bolsters are nice though!
I got a great deal on a pair Tenzo-R seats and figured I'd just get rid of the limp CRX Si seats that are in the car and get by on these seats. Good luck...I'd like to find someone who did the swap...maybe I'd have second thoughts before I get rid of these mint seats.

 

i'm putting them in my 91 hatch. the outside rail fits and the front part of the inside rail fits. i drilled out the holes in the front to make it a little wider, cuz it was a bit narrow. i'm gonna drill through the floor for the inside rear bolt, cuz that or welding are about my only options. it may be a little work, but that's well worth it.

 

If you can please post some photos or email me some photos of your trick job. They are great seats! I pulled mine out of a junkyard 1991 Prelude Si that obviously was some chics car based on the articles in the car (117k). Someone who didn't weigh much cus the drivers seat looks brand new and the foam is mint.
