Default Suspension Questions

I'm looking for a high quality kit for a '95 sedan. Coil overs are cool but new shocks w/ springs are ok also. I was looking and getting the KONI RSK kit. I am only wanting something between 1-2" in the front with a 1/4" less in the back. I autocross my accord but I also do a lot of driving so it needs to be streetable.

Default Re: Suspension Questions (pkt1213)

you can't go wrong with koni's stuff..

depends how much money you have..

1)500shipped
apexi WS coilover with non-adj. damper(for 6th gen: 364lb/inF 244 lb/inR)
very comforty on street, cheap considering the package(30 pieces of total hardware), definity geared toward street use/weekend racer. No mounts but there's top hats

2)650shipped
Onmipower coilover with non-adj. damper(there's two rate ava. street/track)
i believe some guys in eibach is gonna test the onmi system soon, the manufacturer of the spring and material they used is unknown.
mounts included, no need for disassemble the stock unit.

3)700shipped
Tein basic, very very similar to apex'i' WS kit. non-adjustable damper, front spring is a tad stiffer than ws' spring(390 vs 364) but the rear springrate is indentical to WS. no mounts included.
tein coilover' slot are prone to rust/salt(eastcoast, snow, etc), and it will not go all the way down like some of the bumpstop rider perfer.

4)1000shipped
Tein SuperStreet, the springrate is the same as Basic but you'll have adjustable damper, no top mounts neither.

5)1000shipped
GroundControl Coilover(million mile warranty, eibach quality, custom spring rate availble, race proven formula)
Koni yellow(adjustable, revalveable(can be custom), the damper can be shorten)
