Default Questions Lots of Problems No Answers

whats up ive been readin up on the posts you guys have made and replied to and you all seem pretty helpful well i ask if you could possibly help me out. I recently inherited a 1993 honda accord lx the exterior is in pretty good condition but the interior electrical components are a problem

1. For some strange reason the E brake light stays on even tho the E brake is disengaged.
2. Heater **** is broken *know where i could get one*
3. Heat takes a really really long time to finally come out *any idea why*
4. 3 defroster lines in the back window dont work can i fix that?

Thanks for your time and your replys!

1) check if your cable is stuck or not, they do need adjustment from time to time.
2)ebay, junkyard, your neighbor's accord, honda
3)does the heater give you a sweet smell to it? in short check the heatercore, blower, etc.
4)defroster patch kit, they works if you have a damaged line, too bad they looks like crap

#1 Open the hood and check the brake fluid level
#2 Honda sells heater control *****
#3 OPEN THE HOOD and watch the heater control valve operation; see #2
#4 The heater grid is best left alone, I have seen people jumper the broken part with solder though.

All very solid advice.

Just wanted to add...

#3 Is the thermostat working properly?

#4 The window heater grid has one or more breaks in it. Look for obvious scratches or other tears in it. If you have a lot of time on your hands and want to mess with it, check out alarm supply companies or similar places. They may have a 'paint' on product that might bridge the breaks. Don't know how the heat will affect it though.
