Do u think I would be able to just walk in somewhere and buy it? Or does it need to be reserved?

I would reserve it, I did over a year ago.
And yeah, I'm putting in for vacation tomorrow.

 

Looks like another 2 years of my social life will go down the drain.

doom3 comes out for xbox in a week, and now GT4 about 2 weeks after that. looks like i'm eating more spaghetti, taking money out of food budget, and putting it in video games.

 

Huh. And I just heard today that the European release was March 8.

So in other words, I'll believe it when I have a copy in my grubby little hands...

yeah but i'm a doom nerd. i'm the only person i know who could beat it without codes, on the highest difficulty level.

i played it for 5 minutes on the PC, it looks super good, and is super violent. should be fun in our basement with no windows and 50'' HDTV at 3am.

Prepare to get freaked the hell out...
Thanks to my 5.1 surround sound computer speakers you will start to hear things like ghostly whispers, painful moaning, demonic chanting, (ambient background sounds in certain rooms) you know, the sort. I can barely play any more than 20 min at night and 35 min in the daytime. FREAKY AS HELL!!! To this day I have not finished Doom 3 since I bought it on the official release date.

As for now I'm trying to revive GT3 in all it's glory before GT4 makes a grand entrance into my room

The official release date in Europe is in fact March 8.
