Default Tokico Coilovers or Illumina plus GC Combo??? HELP

I'm trying to spend around 600 dolars on a set of coilovers for my rs integra. Currently my suspension set-up couldn't get any worse. I've got failing stock struts with a set of really crapy Matrix coil-over. You may ask what was I thinking with this set-up, but the facts are that when I bought the car the guy had a set of H&R springs on it, and gave me the Matrix set as well since he had no use for them. The problem became my school has huge *** speed bumbs that where destroying the bottom of my car so I kinda had to put on the Matrix set so I could raise my car a few inches. ok.... Now its been about 2 months of bouncing all over the road and I'm starting to loose it. I'm trying to decide on a set of coil-overs (sleeves or true). The sets i'm considering include:

Tokico + GC combo
Tokico Illumina R coilovers
NEX Coil-overs
(Don't know much about the NEX Coilovers, but all the reviews I've heard about them have been good)

Any Imput on this subject would be great

(o yea.... I'll be ebaying this one no matter what)

hey man. personally, i have the gc with tokico illumina shocks. the ride isnt all that bad considering that you are dropped low to the floor. i dont believe in obtaining a really smooth ride not unless you spend the big bucks on expensive as hell coilover setups. but my experience with the gc-tokico combo isn't bad at all. for me, it hasnt really been bumpy but more of a stiff ride, causing it to seem bumpy. if i were you though, i would get the omnipower street setup. its a true coilover system and ive only heard good things about them. i insist on the street setup because it is constructed to withstand the streets, as opposed to their sport setup which is strictly commited to stiffness for racing. the omnipower will run you just about the same as a gc-tokico setup. just my 2 cents. good luck bro

My boy rides GC's with Illumina's on his EK coupe, and the ride is very smooth, but stiff. I have TEIN HA's on my teg (from an ITR) and that **** is stiff as a board. I had Skunk 2's with Illumina's on my EF hatch back in the day, and they rode nicely...pretty stiff though.
