Default cleaning up the engine bay - what to remove what to leave alone

The car I have has some nonfunctioning parts sitting in the engine bay. For example the AC lines are still there but the AC has been removed. Being as I can’t drive the car right now I would like to pull everything that has no use. If someone can post a diagram of a SOCH engine bay and name a few things I should pull that would be very helpful. I will take a photo of mine when I get home so you can see what I am working with. The car is a 94 civic ex coupe also.

Yo! Look what I found! The search function!

https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch

Do a search using "clean engine bay" in the archives, and you will get 43 results.

In those 43 topics, there are roughly 400-500+ replies, I'm sure you'll find alot more info in there then you will when 2 people reply to this thread and then it gets buried in the archive in a matter of days.

if your not driving it, spend 6-7 hours, pull the block, remove everything, and paint the bay. Then re-install only what it aboustly needed. "tight" as the man would say, and you learn a lot about your engine.
