How complicate would it be to swap an H22 motor....
into a 2000 model integra with an auto tranny?
I am either considering this or a tranny swap but i wanna do what ever will be cheaper...
Thanks

usually when you buy a h22a motor, the tranny comes with it.... it would be a good idea if your suspension was up to the task, as the h22a is a bit heaver then the b18b....
consider a B20 engine VTEC or not.........it would be much easier to drop into a DC2 chassis as opposed to a H22 and still make more torque than any B18.
why don't you just swap in the b18c5....if you get a h22 the weight of the motor is going to throw the weight distribution off of your integra chassis.....and swapping in a b18c5 is a better swap....there would probably be no modification to the chassis whereas the h22 would need to mounts fabricated
i say go w/ the H22. weight distribution is important to those who auto-x, an H22 is unique and would provide awesome torque/hp, especially a jdm h22.

The auto swap is much easier than the manual. BUT, do NOT get the autostick version of the Prelude tranny, I hear it's a BIG BITCH to install the electronics.
Just use a 92-95 Prelude auto tranny, and get yourself a JDM Type S H22. (220HP)
