Best place to buy JDM engine and cluster or entire fornt clip?
I am about to start either a JDM CRX project or a JDM DA project. I want to purchase an entire fron clip for this project so that the engine mileage reflects the mileage on the JDM cluster. Any help and comments will be appreciated.
-Where is the best place to buy a JDM engine and matching cluster (or front clip)?
-What other options do I have? (In order to have an enigne with matching cluster?)

If you want the milage accurate with the engine for resale value.... its not worth the xtra money you are going to have to dump into getting a front clip.
Those cars are older and probably harder to find. Money would be better spent buying a gsr and getting a mount kit.
If you still want the front clip you can give leo a call at passwordjdm.com

hmotorsonline.com is another option. if you just buy the swap, you could always reset or adjust the odometer on your cluster to your desired number.
In that case, where is the cheapest and most reliable place to buy a JDM engine from? Do any of these places guarantee the mileage?
I've been using

or

I've been to Jarco and they have an asome set up and the guys are great. I've also bought mainy DA parts from Jhot.

thanks man...
It looks like a front clip is way too expensive and not worth it... I just need to find a place that will sell the engine and cluster together...

http://www.passwordjdm.com will probably sell you the swap w/ the cluster from the car. It is however illegal to change the mileage on your cars odometer, or the one you swap in. The motor may have that many miles, but the chassis doesn't. Doesn't look good when you go to sell the car, and the odo has less miles than what's on the title. There is an excellent article on here I suggest you find on how to take apart the cluster and adjust the mileage to the proper number. Whichever route you choose to take, good luck!!!

I hate to be a dick but either way you are gonna have to convert the **** to kilometers, so why not just get a motor that you know the kilometers of and convert it to miles. Then convert the cluster kilometeres to miles, thennn the miles on the US car and call it a day. Keep track of how many new kilometers you put on the car, convert those to miles and figure out your new mileage.
