Hello,

I just bought a brand new '02 Accord with the LX trim. Paid $17,288 and out the door cost with tax and license was ~$18,900. Nothing else was purchased, not even the extended warranties. So my question is for what extra should I buy right off the bat? It came with mats, but thats about it. I plan on installing the Honda factory security system unless someone recommends not to. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

 

do you want performance mods or show mods? I either case I would buy a manual on the car and learn a little about what you git first. It makes it easier on you and the car in the end.

Ahh okay good advice. Any manuals you could recommend?

I dont really want to put any performance parts in since is more of a daily commuter car. Just stuff that should be changed right away. Like an alarm system, etc.

 

i would get a haynes off the bat then move to something like the Honda certified manual

Nothing I suppose. I just bought the car though(has only 50 miles on it) and I'm not looking to add any performance parts just yet. Maybe in the future though.
