JUNs 3's and Toda C's if u want to try to get over 200whp

Toda B's and Jun 2's if u want 200 whp and good midrange

ITR and CTR can max at 190whp and great midrange - good bang for the buck (CTR cams are a waste for just a tad more duration)

Skunk2's are similiar to the ITR and CTR but has more potential due to higher lift and duration than ITRs

Question, with ITR cams on a GSR,do you think dc 4-2-1 is good for them being your getting good midrange from the cams?Or 4-1 all the way?

i know jdm products are what everyone is thriving for, hell i even have a jdm conversion on my gsr, but one question, why pay premium for jdm aftermarket when i'm sure american companies like skunk2 or crower build great products. i think they are capable products with the same tuning potential as jun or toda. oh well just a quesion, i better not get flamed for this!!

Personally I've only seen 1 good dyno chart from the ever popular JDM header. And it was a kid from this sight who posted them.If you go to integra dyno center online you'll see several typeR's with and without cams getting 0 hp to the wheels from those headers.I personally have no idea whats really good these days and whats not.Only way for me to trully find out would be getting your car dynoed, with mods.

personally i'd go with the 4-1 from your choices....but if i were to get the cams, i'd get the jdm 4-1 or dc jdm one.

u can get midrange with the other cams also......something called TUNING
with camgears

i have one question, everyone says "dont bother going with the CTR's cause theyre only a little better than ITR's" now i dont get that cause if theyre a little better and around the same price, well then why wouln't you get them? Just wondering.

IF and only if you can find them close to the same price. Alot of stores charge an extra arm just for the CTR intake cam. If you can find them simliarly priced, i would say go for it.

you cant just throw a cam in your car and it will run great and add mad HP. cams like JUN and Toda need a lot of tuning to run right (JUN 3's, TODA C's). If you have a good tuner then go for the big lobes but if you dont have a tuner the go with a honda cam, just dont expect a lot out of a the ITR or CTR cams compared with the Toda or Jun.......

this is a common misconception. to make the power ITR or CTR cams deserve... they require just as much tuning as Jun 3s deserve... not quite as much as toda C's... but the concept is the same.

I dont care what kinda cam you run... expect a need for a new ecu, a fpr, a vafc, or a standalone unit. Not to mention cam gears. Only when you tune all of these, i dont care waht kinda cam you have, will you see your true potential.
