First off after seeing peoples engine bay's so clean and non-messy lookin, i wanted to clean mine up a bit. Im just unsure where to start, if anyone could help it would be much appriciated. I know theres a thread about it but the pics dont work and it doesnt even tell how to do it. I have some pictures of some messy lookin things too...
All these vacuum hoses suck, they look terrible. Someone help me clean these up, or if you could somehow completely get rid of them and how to go about it.

Also any other tips to clean up misc. wiring and such.
My other question...someone told me that these are some type of JDM door panels, they were already on the car when i bought it so i had thought nothing of it. My crx is an Si so i wondered a little bit why they didnt have the usual door panels with CRX on them, and i dont think i have ever seen all black ones either. Basically i just wanna know what these door panels are off of:




Maybe their custom i dunno, thanks

Door panels could well be off a Civic Si. I had an '89, and it had all-black door panels and no model or name on the embossed cloth part. Those look about right to me for a Civic, and the door panels on both cars are the same dimensions, if not the same part. I know because we measured everything when we were stripping the chassis before it went to the crusher. A buddy of mine took the door panels to put in his CRX.

ohh, cool. Well im gonna do a FS/WTT for these so i can get some CRX si door panels...just to give everyone a heads up. Oh and what year Civic si would these be from...88-89, 90-91?
