i've had my 90 Integra up to 132mph...speedo said 140mph. clear road and cold temps, I-20 in west texas in jan 2000. won't do that ever again. plus, i had damned good michelin tires too and only 48k miles on that car then. ran good, sucked some gas down.

Your speedometer won't even be close to acurate at those speeds... and I won't even get into how idiodic it is to attempt that on a public road.

My 90 GS would hit aprox 125 on a flat, and 133 on a slight downslope.. intake and exhaust were the only mods on the tired 177k mile motor.

I was crusing along side my friend's BPU++ '95 Supra on the way to the track and he wanted to "race" me. Basically, he wanted to burn some gas so he could fill up on some 116. Anyway, I floor it, he leaves me by like 15 car lengths. LMAO. anyway, my speedometer does not work b/c I forgot to hook the cable back into the transmission. So Im floorin it in 5th gear and at about 6700rpm, he slows down to my side and rolls his window down. Hes screamin, "Hey man, you know how fast your going." I was like, "uh 120?" He screamed back 140. I was really surprised that it even made it to that mark.
