Default King Motorsports?

Are they in Daytona?

I have sent them quite a few emails regarding a order that I placed a few months ago asking them to either credit my account or send me the tracking number....

I know they are a reputable organization....

Any incite would be greatly appreciated : )

I know this sounds weird, being the age of Al Gore's internet and George W.'s internets and all, but have you considered picking up the telephone and giving them a call?

Call them.

And let me know when you want to eat, we'll get the spoon ready.

I agree that one should pick up the phone and call when you have a problem. However, I believe a business shouldn't put up an email address if they're not going to answer it. There's no real excuse for that unless somehow they haven't been getting the emails (spam filter or something).

Let's chill here kids...he asked a simple question...since when did the RR forum become the drag racing forum...all those fools do is talk **** for no reason...Paul asked a simple question and all it needed was a simple answer. I'm willing to bet we're all old enough here to NOT exemplify the kind of comments seen here. I'm a bit shocked that some of the people on here would be that way. What did something crawl up your *** and die? I thought the guys who had stepped up from going in a straight line or around cones to driving on a track would have a little more maturity than this...******-a.

in this day and age, not answer emails is simply bad business practice. and rude too. i hate ppl/companies that do not reply to emails. canned responses are just as annoying.

I am not posting my reply as a competing business to King Motorsports, but I did have this one experience with them years ago........

I ordered an oil cooler set up for my crx back in 1999 and it still hasn't arrived.
(I started my own business and built my own set up in 2002 as a result, thanks King for giving me the ambition to do things for myself.)

Sometimes orders get lost in the tussle of doing business and Scott and the crew are evidently busy...maybe a magazine shoot, testing a new WC car?????

I hope you got through and found some resolve at the end of your call.

I have to add that I have placed three separate orders with King Motorsports in the last three months and I can't think of a better company to deal with. I received order confirmation emails, then UPS tracking numbers when the item was shipped. And their customer service is excellent.

Back to the topic of emails....

I deal with customer service/product information emails at work on a daily basis and would like to add that many customers have spam protection that prevents return emails from ever reaching them.

Howdy - we're not in Daytona. We're here and we're definately aware of this particular order and the emails. Per the last correspondence the parts are on back order from the manufacturer (not Mugen )...

Last check with the vendor was on the 11th of January and we were told two weeks - or January 25th. Just called them on the phone and they are "...supposed to be here today and will ship to you tomorrow."

At any rate, we're going to have the vendor drop-ship a set directly to you so there is not additional wait time.

For everyone's benefit, if you are having trouble with email responses (yes sometimes anti-spam shuffles a legit email away forever) here are a couple more options:

1)Call us at 262-786-8360
2)Send me an IM here on H-T (I'm on here every day, evening, and weekend)
3)AIM me at egswap
4)Try a direct email to clayton@kingmotorsports.com
5)Call me on my cell phone 414-520.... just kidding, last thing I need is some stunna calling me at 2:30am asking about the Mugen grill for an Escalade he saw on eBay

Especially since his original question was "Are they out of business?" and was later changed to the current....

It's funny, but being in IT and having support contracts with many firms, you'd be surprised how many have much more attractive and responsive SLA's for phoned-in trouble tickets vs. those submitted via email.

The fact of the matter is that many of us have grown accostomed and conditioned to doing too much of our business or personal interraction via computer and fail to remember that some other methods may be more effective in many situations.
