What race gas are you using?
Previously I had my car tuned on Phillips 114. The car made pretty good numbers on the fuel (540hp/398ft lbs). However, its been a PITA to find the stuff.
The car is being retuned this weekend on VP C12. Just wondering what everyone else is burning and how well it works for you?

Rockett Brand 118 is what I run.
C16 has too high a specific gravity (0.730-6), and I never was too excited about its burn charateristics (too slow for my liking). They also use Benzene (an aromatic hydrocarbon) in order to achieve the desired octane level.
The Rockett 118 sg is in the 0.704 range, and burns clean and in a more efficient manner. I love it!

I too have heard of Rocket from Ben Strader. He seems to like it a lot. The only downside is that its hard to find. Know where I can find some dealers in Texas Bisi??

Is that the same as Rocket Fuel? I remember calling 76 one time when they stopped selling 100 octane at the pump, and he said they weren't selling it in California anymore and they were looking for a new vendor. He said they were also changing the name to Rocket Fuel... That was sometime last year.

I haven't heard of that, although I run the 76 100 octane (cool blue) in my street car.

hey rondigs! I really like to use Pro fuels or Mark fuels up here in Canada, they have the same anti knock levels as VP basically but unleaded for street use (undetectable smell to cops ) and for tuning using O2 sensor guarantees acurate readings and sensor life. see if you can get a hold of Mark 5, Sunoco also has a line of race fuels that are hard for me to find but they have fuels suited for every application.

I've used Mark5 on my Miata with a Turbo/Nitrous mix. No problems with it, and no burning up O2 sensors. 475hp with Mark 5, 115 Octane.
