Street/strip spring rate
I'm looking into getting a set of coilovers for my 95GSR, but i'm having trouble finding information on spring rates. the car is driven mostly on the street but sees regular track use. i was thinking about 450f/600r. does this sound reasonable. the car is mostly stock with bolt ons and a bottle. Anyhelp would be appreciated. I was thinking of going with omnipower but i dont kno wthat they do custom springrates.

a 600 won't be very nice on the street. For most people anything over 400 rear is considered "rough" on the street. It depends how much you can take I guess. My friend has 500f/225r on his hatch w/ an adjustable shock(tein flex) and it is super comfortable on the street. The car has also gone 11.7 on a street tire so it works pretty good at the track too.
What you can get away w/ running vs. what you should run in competition is going to be totally different. I really dont think its worth it to go 600+ rate springs for a car thats main duty is street driving.

you can help manage it w/ a good shock. Cutting 1.8 60's his car squats about 1" in the rear. You get diminishing returns on squat vs. comfort when you increase the spring rate.. For a 12 sec car(bolt ons + bottle + slicks= I am assuming you will be) a 300lb vs. a 600lb may only be good for 1/10th of a seconed, but it will be a huge change in ride comfort.
