I need to remove the stock side sills(skirts) on a dc2. Does anybody have instructions on how to take these off?

You have to take out those little plastic screws out of the bottom, then slide the side skirt twards the back, or font, I forget which way, but you will feel it move. It slides off, it does not pry off.

 

Well which is it? I think you are talking about the skirts on the outside of the car to which I say listen to 97blackteg. If your talking about the door sills when you open the door and that plkastic is there, then yeah, just shove a flathead (be careful not to scratch the paint) under there and pry.

 

Slide forward. Then remove all of the plastic tabs from the body of the car.

If you're putting on the OEM bodykit, slide the tabs onto the new side skirt and pop (literally) the side skirt on by giving it a little pressure until you hear the tabs pop back in.

 

Sorry. I'm talking about the side skirts. Removing them so I can get them painted.

if u have mudguards u gotta remove the front ones also.. but yeah remove all the tabs/screws under and then push it and it will side off its mounts/clips..
