Default First Break-in for a 1 week old. 98 GSR Sedan. Stupid Thieves.

I'm very pissed off right now. Why do thieves tries to steal my car, when
1. It's in my driveway.
2. There's my dad Convertion Van blocking the entrance/exit.

I just want to know what the heck were they trying to do. Everything is stock, and I just bought the car. Didn't want to put insurance or anything on it yet, due to the storm and I don't want to take it out. Now, my driver side window is prop open. Everytime I tried to shut it, I have to push the window in also.

Anyone know how much it would cost to make a perfect seal?

Luckily, my dad was sleeping in the basement, and saw the lights in my drive-way turned on.

I think these thieves didn't have an idea what to do, after they got into the car.

Also, I got lo-jack, and ravelco, and waiting for my to put on my insurance, to get the alarm fix.

I think ravelco is like a fuel cut-off. And my car will always be the inner most of the drive-way.

after mine got broken into it never made a perfect seal, its been over 2 years now.

all i do is when i shut the door from the outside i shut it from the window, if i get inside the car i roll the window down an inch and then back up and that seals it.

other than that i didnt even bother trying to fix it. it is annoying tho.

so if you get a quick fix, remind me what you did.

They want the engine, as do a lot of other thieves when they jack GSR's. I dunno why they tried it with the van in the way though, maybe they were planning to just hop the curb n take off.
