hey guys,

i just did a trade for fog light swtiches with another member on here. He has a JDM fog light kit while i have a USDM kit. we traded swtiches thinking it's all the same, but when he received the swtich; he said that the plugs were different. his having 3 wire green plug and mine is a 5 wire plug.

i wonder if anyone know for sure if the JDM/USDM harnesses are differnent? and if so why Honda would make 2 different harnesses and switches?

is there anything we can do? or do we jsut have to trade swtiches back?

the JDM harness and USDM harness are different. the jdm one is for a RHD car, usdm is for a LHD car. there are different lighting laws for the US and japan (ie usdm fogs turn off when high beams go on).

i see thanks for the info. we found out we would need to trad interior harnesses but that would be too much work for just switches

 

does the switch look different or something?

 

it looks the same but the plugs are different. i was wondering if i could trade the case or something
