Yea... and thats not a sealed battery.
that battery = harmful gases releasing all the time.
Otherwise I :hearted: my zex... until I went Turbo. All in all... kick *** power for the $$$

OK what MF'er on here hasn't ever ghettoed up something on their EF, i know most of you people have and Dont lie lol. but anyways it works just fine where it is, i used to have an amp and sub in the back and it got stolen so i just did that one day when i was boared!

I have never delt with Zex before, but from what I hear they are about the best on the market. My friend has an 89 hatch with ZC swap and 75 wet shot Nitrous Works kit installed...That focker will glue you to the seat.

well from what i have heard its not best to cause you can freese the butterfly up and it will stay open and then you can say bye bye to your motor, but anyone tell me if i'm wrong???

The ZEX kit is good for the money, i installed one in my crx years ago worked great and got my car running a zc at the time to run a best 1/4 of 13.7@101mph.
I would consider doing a cleaner install though. The stainless steel nos lines are suposed to be installed outside "underneather the car, not under the carpet. The control unit should be mounted in the engine compartment, not under the dash in the passanger cabin. The car would never pass a proper tech at the track if you wanted to run it to see what the car could do. Safety is the biggest issue.

definitally a ghettofab style... your setup is dangerous... i wouldn't sit in your car.
I suggest....

Yeah if you wanted to go to the track they would also want a working exterior battery cut off mounted on the rear of the car. and the battery has to be in a sealed battery box.
before you start juicing all over town... make your car safe before you explode.

yeah , i've had zex before in my legend. the install looks good but i would put the fogger in the intake at least 6" from the TB , think of the that far back where u have it looks like its gonna disrupt the flow of the nos.

Never said I hadn't but um, it's common sense not to put an unseald battery setup like that. Not hatin at all, but just sayin I wouldn't ride like that. Much less buy a zex kit before I buy a plastic vented box and ventilate it to the outside. Or get a hawker battery or optima, anything sealed.
safety, that's all man, get in a wreck rearended and a possibility of acid going all about the car hitting you, or that whole spark + nitrous idea someone else said.

hahaha.. nitrous is a gas... it will be sucked in the flow of the least resistance. fuel, a liguid state, however wont... this is why nitrous manufacturs recommend you put it 6" away from the TB. so your fuel wont' stick to the intake tube, or cause your engine to run lean... which will ulltimatly run extreamly hot, and blow...
good try on the NOS theory. lol

yeah that wiring is pretty funky, I had a friend who had some wiring in his car like that, it cought on fire while he was goin down the road, like big flames, it took the fire department to put it out, I can only imagine what would happen if u add nitrous in tha mix.

you know what i just noticed... i only see a N20 line into the "fogger"... which would mean, its a dry kit... ****, on a dry kit, you could put it in the resonator, and still get half was decent results. dry kits are like FMU's on turbo's.. cheap, easy, and at low HP, relitivaly safe.
but the true, best tunnable setup is a wet kit, mixing both gasoline and nitrous together, and this would require it being as close to the TB as possible, as i stated in my previous post.

well i got my bottle filled today and Man O Man its fast, First try: i was going down the road doin about 40MPH in 2nd gear and turned on the switch and mashed in the gas and the SOB just took off, did that a few times then i wanted to try it in 1st gear so i did, i was goin about 22 30MPH and mashed it and it just ****** spun the tires off. looked like the tach had a magnet on it . but its all cool, i like it!
I've been here and done that. N20 is great.. Just do me a favor.. Let me know when it blows.
