Will 215/45/16 fit on 16x7 wheels?
I thought about getting Falken Azenis RS 215/45/16. Will they fit on Rota Subzero's 16x7? The offset is +40mm I believe, will this rub against the wheel well? My car is lowered with H&R Sport springs with Koni Yellows set on the lowest perch.
Thanks
Thanks
I'm in the same boat.
I've contemplating 205/45/16 Sumitomo HRTZII's vs. 215/45/16 Azenis' on my 16" Subzeros.
You may rub a little since you're sitting on H&R Sports. I'm H&R OEs and could maybe get a way with 215/45's.
What color did you get?

215/45 will fit but the ideal sizes for a 16" wheel would be 205/45. On an integra with 205/45/16 your indicated speed would be 60mph and your actual speed 59.5mph.
other than the fact that your speedo will be off, will there be any other problems like the tires rubbing? i want to do the same thing and im looking to be dropped about an inch eventually
I think it all depends on the offset of the wheel.
My enkies are 42mm offest and I'm pretty sure with a 215/45 I would need to roll the rear fenders with anything over an inch drop.
With a 40mm offset with no more than an inch drop you should be fine.
Are you looking at the 215 for the extra section width or is that all you can find?

For me, its because I thought about getting the Falken Azenis RS tires but they only offer 215/45/16 and they dont offer the size I want which is 205/45/16.
Ahhh.. A search turned up this info. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=113742
I aint rolling my fender lip no more after what the guy with the Vintage Mustang said. Its true though, dirt and water will get trapped. Therefore it'll cause some corrison and rusting.

I've had my fenders rolled. I took it to a Porsche shop to get it done. I have no idea what method they used to roll them. Unfortunately, even with the heating of the paint, they just couldn't keep it from cracking. I've filled in the cracked spots with touch up paint. I'm hoping the panels are galvanized and with the addition of the touch up paint they won't rust. I rolled the fenders to fit some Yokohama A520s in 205/45/16 on the car.
By the way, I'm in the same boat here. This spring I want to try to fit the 215/45/16 Azenis on my car. My car is lowered with H&R Sport springs and autocrossed heavily. I have BBS RK wheels, but don't know their offset. There's a chance that they might work. Fortunately, my tire guy's willing to mount a single tire for me and we can go give it a road test to see if under cornering load the fenders will rub.

215/40/16s fit with a pinky's width clearance between the inside sidewall and rear control arm. My wheels are 16x7, 40mm offset. I never got any scrubbing with 130+ autocross runs on H&R OEs.
