Default 6000k or 8000k?

Hey just wondering the HIDs in a LEXUS or the Audis, are those 6000k or 8000k. Im talking about the LEXUS ES330 or the Audi A4 or A6. Newer ones.

all OEM equipped vehicles use 4100k or 4300k.

well some people might get confused cause after about 100 hours of use on a HID bulb it begins its stage where the bulb actually color shifts

so the blue look on the audi and the lexus aren't different from the white look on other cars. There all 4000k-4300k. Im just wondering because I don't know whether to get teh 6000k or 8000k HID kit.

get neither. 4300k is what i got recently, and the color it puts on the ground is damn near pure white...looks exactly like the color coming from my x5. people even tell me i have "the flicker" but i didnt buy them for that.

neither... both those are t3h suck0

I had 6000K, it was pretty, but that's about it. Now doing E46 BMW bi-xenon swap.

The blue color from far away comes from the light acutally bending when it hits the shield. Go to hidplanet.com/forums and read up on the stickies there. or find the "carpassion light FAQ" on google.

not even close.... 4100k is basically pure white. puts the most light on the ground. 6000k gives off a more blueish color and does not put out as much light as 4100k.
You will still get color out of the 4100k you just wont notice it but other cars will. You would be better off doing a complete retrofit.
