B16A2 Stock IM vs. Skunk2 IM
I've heard many people say that the stock b16 IM is very good and purchasing the Skunk2 IM would be a waste of money! Can someone who knows shed some light on this!
I know that on B18C, the skunk2 makes good gains esp. in conjunction with stage 1 cams + gears. Is this also true for the B16A2?
My setup will be i/h/e, skunk stg I cams, hondata s100ecu. Will i see a significant (5hp+) increase in power?

Yes. The manifold is really only useful with cams, tb and tuning.q

i think that you will move your peak hp with a itr/skunk2 im
in my case with my b16 with my basic setup:p&p head itr cam-p28 chiped-i/e/h cam gear skunk2 im...
my peak hp of 7600 move to 8300 rpm
and i don't lose bottom end with the swap of im like everyone said...

do you have a dyno before and after to back this up? Usually the low end that is lost isnt enough for the average ***-dyno to tell there is a difference.

I know the IM off of the Del Sol Vtecs out performs the IM off of an Si B16. However back in the day I had an ITR IM on my B16 and it out performed the stock IM. Skunk2 IM is almost identical to the ITR, if I am not mistaken!
I also run a Skunk2 IM now on my B18b.
