Default NOVA riders - 50° warm enough!?

Let's get a ride together for this Saturday. It's supposed to be a high of 50° and I checked the records, it was only 46° the last time we rode. Who's in?

my god, me and my friend Matt were joking at school about how we would be on our bikes today (34 deg) if there wasn't so much salt

If the roads are pretty dry from the rain on Thursday, I'm in.

I can't ride, I've got to work during the day.

Any plans for afterwards? Pool, beer and wings, etc?

Depending on what time you want to ride, i may go out for about an hour or so. My wife is having her baby shower at 2 pm and i have to be back around 12-1ish to help setup and watch my daughter. So keep me posted.

Someone brought up the very possible problem with salt and sald. I've barely got a few months under my belt, I'd hate to eat it because I got to anxious and lost it in some loose stuff. Meh, I don't give a ****..... must.... ride.

Just go to Home depot.. get yourself a good saw, you can get them pretty cheap. And find the closest wall, and start cutting. That way you can see outside.. easy as that. A hammer may work too, but that makes more noise than a saw would.

lmao, have you seen the walls of the Pentagon? I doubt a saw and hammer from Home Depot could dent this place

Ohh i like the flat black look... <--DROOLIN... Dat's nice.. But i think i'm gonna stick with the blue & White.
Yeah let's see how the weather is this afternoon(Friday). Maybe the sun will pop out for a few. What time would everyone want to go riding? Say meet up at ten take a 2 hour trip and be back for lunch at noon? By time we leave it'll be like 1030ish. we can meet in Leesburg, yeah i know that's where i live, but everyone meets at the Sheetz and we all leave from there. I here they have a lot of snow up in WV and i don't know how bad Route 9 will be but that's an option!??! there will probably be two of us on my end, maybe 3. But again depends on how wet the roads are and how much crap is on the road?!?!? Keep posting all day to see who all is in. I think i may just end up going to get out of the house.

Looks like the weather is supposed to be a little bit warmer and less windy on Sunday, which actually works better for me. It would suck to stuff my bike on my birthday but at the same time it would be nice to give myself the little present of a nice ride. An extra day for the roads to clear up certainly couldn't hurt. Do people have a preference for the day?

Doesn't really matter to me. As long as it's nice out, i think we'll be ok.
