Getting wheels powdercoated, need opinions!
Ok, my wheels are kinda chipped and scraped up from lots of miles and from wheel weights. I'm getting new tires and wanna have my wheels powdercoated. I've called around to 2 different places locally. 1st place is charing $45/wheel and i have to get the sandblasted somewhere else. They will order what ever color i choose to get the closest match. The other place is charging $25/wheel but they won't order special colors because it's a smaller shop but they do have black. Also have to have wheels sandblasted at a seperate location. Both places are quoting up to 2 days to have them done. Basically what i'm asking is would you pay more and get the stock GM color or just go with the black? Any other colors to recommend? It's a basically stock PY R.
No, i just wanted to see what others would do in the same situation. I have a pretty good idea of what i'm going with but i like hearing others opinions.
