AS title says need torque wrench settings for a d16z6, for the con rod caps please! just need to verify because i rebuilt motor on saturday and earlier in traffic i could hear slight noise which sounded like my big end bearings. thanks in advance for any help

 

I'm not sure what they are, but what did you torque them too, just curious!

 

think i done it to 18 ft lbs and then to 38ft lbs

 

my bad that was for the main bearings! i done them to 23 ft lbs

 

Give me an hour and I will tell you if nobody else has done so already.

23 lb-ft for the rods bolts
