Cheapest 99+ "Style" 600cc Bike
Well im looking at buying a new 600 bike. I want the "Style" of the newer bikes, with the high tail, more aggressive headlights.
What i have noticed:
Honda is $$ compared to Yamaha and also Kawasaki..
Does this always deem true? Im looking to spend around 4000 just on a bike, Equipr/Insurance is already taken care of...
Im really open to any 600 Bike of the that style..I was on a GSXR 750 and It seemed way to big for my liking. I was on a Kawa ZX6R and it seemed perfect size/fit..
thanks

Hondas are generally more expensive because the resale value of their bikes remains high.
Since you mention that gear and insurance is already done, can I assume you have previous motorcycle experience? If not, start on something older/not as flashy. If you do, then the ZX6R is a good buy. It's cheaper than the Honda and just as comfy. It's also a decent performer and can be used to sport-tour if necessary. The best thing is, it's a Kawasaki, so no one wants those, and you can pick one up for cheap.

The more money you spend, the easier it is to find the bike you want. Typically, a "newer" 6 in good condition is gonna be at least $5K. More like $6K.

there is no quality difference between the big 4 manufactures...its purely in what you think is better or what you like more. Hondas dont keep their resale value any more than a suzi, kawi or yami. The only reason they do here is becuase this is a HONDA site so obviously people on here are going to say that they are better...which they are with automobiles but for bikes they are all pretty much the same IMHO

Honda's don't hold their value any better than anyother makes. Honda's resell a little higher because typically, they cost more to begin with. But there are differences in quality. From what I can tell, mechanically, all bikes are sound but its the little things like fit and finish. Like comparing Lexus' and BMWs... mechanically engineered well but executed differently.
