Default Valve sizing?

I never seem to get an answer when I post in here but its probably because all of my quetions are dumb and the answers have already been posted. I dont have time for the search today so I hope you can help.
Can GSR stock valves flow good enough for an N/A application using ITB's and S2S2 cams? Or shold they be upgaded? Taxes are on the way and the cylinder head is getting worked and I need to plan this out. Hope you guys can help. The head will also receive a P&P, valve job, polished CC, all that good stuff, I really dont want to have any choke points. TIA><

You will be good with stock valve sizes. The one you really need to ask the question of is the shop that's doing the port work. Many porters have a preference of valve manufactures also.Pick a porter and take his advice.

Njin builder, you are a wealth of knowledge. I was actually going to try and save a few $ by reusing the valves that are currently in the head as long as they are all still good. If I have to change I was thinking of doing some factory Type-r valves for the weight savings factor. What is your opinion on reusing the GSR units?

As long as the stock valves are reuseable you'll be fine w/them.I just did a gsr head for a customer w/his stock valves and he told me he made 20whp more then before so I don't feel that a .5mm os valve is going to show much more then that. The valve job is more important then the valve manufactuer or size in most cases, untill you step up to the very big motors and lots of rpm.

That was the theory I was going on. I didnt figure that a larger valve would be needed until forced induction of some sort or a very large dispalcement with high flow characteristics type of N/A motor. Thanks for all of your input.
