new to HT
Hey, just wanted to drop in and say my hellos. I've been to a couple honda-tech meets before but now I'm officially joining and hope to be contributing in the near future. I used to drive a 92 Prelude S w/ a JDM h22 swap and all of that but as of today I am now a proud 2001 S2k owner.
I'll take some pics pretty soon but as of right now it's pretty much stock. It was on list for $25k but was able to talk them down to $22k which was pretty nice. The only reason i'm mentioning it is because I just saw another post where the guy saw it on list for $27k so either talk them down or don't get that S.
I've only had it for a day now but I'm already in love. Aside from my left side headlight burning out within a half hour of me driving it, I'm stoked. I'm going to go back to the dealership tomorrow and see if they'll replace it for me because it looks like a pain in the ***. If anyone has a write-up, although I know it's a stupid one, it would be appreciated just in case I have to buy some new headlights.
But yeah, to cut it short I can't be happier.. I've already taken a couple people out and scared the crap out of them although not trying to tear her lose completely yet. Anyway, I love the car and will probably be a regular around here... so yeah, just wanted to introduce myself or my car at least.. i look forward to talking to you guys.

welcome to the family..... and make sure you learn to drive the car before you tear her loose and try to scare the crap out of your friends.. cuase you'll be scaring the **** out of yourself when all of the sudden you're facing oncomming traffic...... the car can be very tail happy..

Yeah, definitely. That's basically what I'm trying to do right now. I'm really not that comfortable with the car yet although it's very forgiving at the moment and responds incredibly well. I came from the prelude family so getting use to the RWD is definitely strange but I love it. I really couldn't say enough good things about this car, I love it. I'm going to try and take some driving classes coming up just to fine tune some skills, should be eventful.
